This morning CIS Abroad was made aware of a tragic shooting at a mall in downtown Bangkok, Thailand. The site of the shooting, Siem Paragon, is a popular luxury brand mall in the center of downtown Bangkok. We have confirmed that all CIS Abroad participants currently onsite in Thailand are safe from harm and the shooter has been apprehended. We will continue to monitor the situation and offer counseling for participants. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and the Kingdom of Thailand as they navigate this difficult time.
