South Korea Spring Program Cancellation
Feb 26, 2020 9:17:41 PM
CIS Abroad has made the difficult decision to cancel the Spring 2020 CIS Abroad Semester in South Korea Program. This decision was made after careful analysis of the situation in South Korea, and after consultation with our partners in the region.
With the rapidly changing situation in South Korea, and the uncertainty of what is to come in the weeks ahead, CIS Abroad is not confident that we can provide the quality academic and cultural experience that we guarantee for our students on the South Korea Spring 2020 program. We are very sorry that the program will not be running this term, as we know that our students were looking forward to their time in South Korea, and a lot of time and energy has been invested in their preparations for their semester abroad.
We have reached out to all Spring 2020 Semester in South Korea students and their emergency contacts to talk about their options for how to proceed, which include deferring to a future term, changing to a May Semester, or changing to a Summer 2020 program. We will be refunding all program fees, or we will be able to apply the fees paid for the Spring 2020 Semester in South Korea program toward another program.
