Update: London Bridge Incident
Jun 4, 2017 1:27:07 PM
At this time all CISabroad participants have been confirmed safe in the London Bridge attacks, occurring on Saturday evening, June 3rd. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to all of those whom have been affected.
After communicating with all on-site staff and partners in London, CISabroad continues to operate its programming as normal. We have a robust Emergency Response and Risk Management plan in place; trained, experienced and dedicated CISabroad onsite staff in London; and all participants receive an in-depth on-site orientation upon arrival. This orientation provides a detailed emergency plan, including important emergency phone numbers, meeting points, and other resources that will aid participants in keeping themselves safe.
We stand in solidarity with our British partners against terrorism and acts of senseless violence. We believe that incidents like these highlight the continued importance of traveling abroad and working toward a more informed and accepting world.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the CISabroad team at 413-582-0407 or email riskmanagement@cisabroad.com. Remember that our commitment to health and safety is paramount.
Kind Regards,
The CISabroad Risk Management Team
