Update on Sydney Incident

On April 13, 2024, a mass stabbing incident occurred at Westfield Shopping Center in Bondi Junction area of Sydney, Australia with several fatalities. We want to assure our students, their families, and our partner institutions that we are closely monitoring the situation and CIS Abroad students on-site in Australia have been confirmed as safe. 

While we do not have any active programs in Sydney, we understand the importance of maintaining open communication during such events. Our primary focus remains the well-being of our students, and we are committed to providing support as needed. We encourage our students studying abroad in other parts of Australia to follow the guidance of local authorities and keep in contact with our on-site staff.
